In this short course, which is part of the IBM Front-End Developer Professional Certificate, you will not only equip yourself with concepts but get several opportunities to practice building website components using Bootstrap.
Course Syllabus
The first module will take you through the basics of Bootstrap. Starting with the definition of Bootstrap, you will learn to set up Bootstrap for your project and some Bootstrap-related concepts. Then, you will initiate your learning into Bootstrap-related features for basic components, such as layouts and contents. The module will also provide a brief overview of how Bootstrap manages browser compatibility.
Module 2: Intermediate Bootstrap
Module 2 begins with an introduction to the different components that have readily available classes in Bootstrap. You will then get familiar with utility and Helper classes in Bootstrap. You will also learn about Bootstrap icons and how to use them in your websites. After a short reading on how React integrates with Bootstrap, you will learn about card components and the grid system.
Module 3: Final Project and Quiz
In the last module, you will include a final project overview and a module-end assessment. While the project will not be scored, make sure to attempt it as it will be a good addition to your portfolio!
